About Me

Garik Himebaugh is the founder of Eco-Stylist, your one stop shop for sustainable fashion. He got hooked on sustainable fashion 7 years ago after a chance meeting with the founder of an ethical brand, which then lead him down a path of countless hours of research into how un-sustainable the fashion industry is. Garik emerged from all this research with a simple question: “can I put together stylish outfits with only sustainable brands?” Once he knew that he could, he wanted to help others dress like they give a damn—and Eco-Stylist was born!

Garik has been both a speaker and a moderator to university classrooms around the world, conferences, MOLA Day in LA, and Sustainable Fashion Forum. He has been featured in Bloomberg, Apparel News, Forbes, Pitchbook, and on 30+ podcasts.

With 6+ years experience researching sustainable fashion brands, and managing a team to research hundreds more, Garik brings a unique lens to what makes brands ethical and sustainable. He helps fashion brands advance and communicate their sustainability efforts, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the SANE Standard.

Garik has an MBA from University of Iowa.
